In a previoust post I showed you how to create your own Drug Wars style art using the Prisma app on IOS and Android. This time we will do it on our PC. Unfortunately for Linux users, the tool we will use here is not available on this platform.
You read well, there are two N in Painnt. This is not the good old image editor from Microsoft but a powerful art maker from photos. A ton of different styles are available, but we will use only one or two.
When you open it, you see a lot of different styles for use with your pictures, and you may want to try them all ! Well, good luck, as there are hundreds of different styles ! Click on the categories tab, and choose Sketch on the provided list (I guess it’s the name used on the international app, I use French language for my part). From here, select the Comic Strip effect. Then choose your picture and let the magic happen !
Now you can change the output size, or change the settings to fit your style. For my part, I just let the settings as they are, the result is just perfect. I just change the output size to HD.
You can try other filters, some of then also do the job, like the Service filter for example. It depends of the original picture, but generally I prefer Comic Strip.
Once done, you can save the picture. Note the watermark can be disabled with the pro version. I use Photoshop to slightly crop the picture and add the old Drug Wars logo (I prefer it to the actual one). Here you are !
